♦︎ HOLD UP ! ...She's Back From Hibernation ♦︎

♦︎Hey, hi, whats up ! I AM BACK...I am probably way more excited then you are but none the less expect blog posts from me soon.

♦︎After my short break of ...oh you know...just about 10 MONTHS, I finally decided "hey Didi maybe its time to get your ass moving and write a blog post".  All jokes aside I just saw the teaser...for the trailer...for the expansion pack ( at least I think its an expansion pack...honestly I am so out of practice ) CITY LIVING. When I saw this I was like " hold my hoops...my sassy city life expansion is gonna steal your men because its so god damn pretty"...okay maybe not like that...but across those lines...also I watched it at 3:00am so it was more of a whisper. None the less I knew this was going to be my type of expansion pack and I am starting a new school year, overall its a really a great time to start this blog up again.

♦︎Okay lets get into these nice little screenshots I took of the teaser. It is literally 9 seconds but with my expert sleuthing skills "we gonna juice this tiny orange to make a jug of orange juice... somewhat".

♦︎So first up we have Bridget ( I am calling her "Bridget" because she look like someone who would order an overly complicated starbucks drink and wear Uggs outside of her house ). So in Bridget's right ( our left ) hand she is holding this little map. I am really hoping this little map is worth something in game and its not just a fancy animation.

♦︎I think it would be super cool if the sims 4 did a kind of "map to the starts" thing with this map kind of like in sims 3 "Late night" or  if you could discover secret areas or unlock places on the map but completing challenges or visiting other lots.

I feel like so much could be done just with this little map feature.

♦︎First off based on this I already have high hopes for this world. Coming from Hong Kong this reminds me a lot of the architecture from where I live. It seems like she is walking across some kind of "high rise pavement" and you can see all the city down below.

♦︎First things first I see some little yellow cars down there and that is already giving me ideas...*cough* taxis *cough*. We don't have taxis or public transportation in the sims 4...probably because we don't need them with all those loading screens ( Im not bitter >_> ) ...but what if we did ( you see where I am going with this don't you ) what if we are getting more of an open world vibe from this...maybe even more of an open world vibe then Windenburg. The only way I feel like this could happen though is if we got huge lots that covered like half the world they could be called like "City lots" or something and they could just be filled with working homes , eateries , taxis , trains, clubs, you name it. I know its a stretch and maybe I am getting overly excited but "guyyyyyysssss !"
*I also grabbed a screenshot of what look to be a larger map or maybe something to do with train station but I have more or less linked on both of those things already. 

♦︎Anyway thats what I have for today. The official trailer is out on the 13th USA time ( because its already the 13th for us Hong Kong peeps ) I will probably be uploading my post on the trailer around Friday morning ( yay more of my sleuthing ...we about to add a little bit of sugar to this orange juice ) and I think I am going to be starting a generations so if we have those week where there is no sims news I will have a blog post about my own sims and what they get up to.♦︎Also please comment if you agree with anything I am saying or if you even want to share ideas of your own.

♦︎Sims 4 Cool Kitchen Stuff Review♦︎

♦︎Hey guys so last week on the 11th of August the latest stuff pack was released for the sims 4. The stuff pack was called "Cool Kitchen Stuff

♦︎Create a Sim
I was really happy with what we got in this pack CAS wise. I think there where still one or two items they maybe they just did not need to add or needed some improving on mainly with the female clothing. There was one I could just not see my self using. In some of my more recent reviews like my spa day review I pointed out that there was not much original male clothing well the sims has surprised me with this stuff pack and has added a really great selection of new clothing items for the male sims.

♦︎Build & Buy
The items we get with build and buy are honestly flawless I don't really have anything negative to say about the design or mesh , but I wish they added more actual kitchen stuff :P. With the free update from two weeks ago I was really hoping they might have added a new style dishwasher. Anyway maybe I was hoping for too much because the pack did have a similar amount of items (CAS and Build & Buy) as past stuff pack.

♦︎Gameplay
Now the gameplay item they have really been putting out there is the new ice cream making machine. So to get all recipes for the ice cream you need to be level 10 in the cooking skills ( kind of like the cup cake machine in the base game ). This ice cream machine was all that I expected plus more. I thought the fact that you could add little toppings was so super "cool". I think my favourite combination would have to be : Vanilla Ice Cream ,   Sprinkles and waffles. Once you have chosen all your toppings you can choose to have your ice cream in a bowl or cone.

♦︎Pros & Cons

♦︎ Is It Worth Buying  ?
I would honestly wait for a sale to buys this. Although it comes with pretty decent CAS items and of course the ice cream machine I don't think its worth 10 USD. I mean I really love this pack but I don't think it lives up to the past 2 stuff packs.

♦︎Sims 4 Dishwasher Update ♦︎

♦︎Hey guys it didi and last week there was a new update ( 7th August 2015 ). This update is for the release of "Cool Kitchen Stuff". Anyway lets take a look at this update.

♦︎So We are going to be talking about the dishwasher in this blog post. This is just a great item they have finally brought to the sims 4. You can find the dishwasher in the "Kitchen Appliances" section in buy mode. Its super easy to use. All you need to do is select the dishes you want to wash they click clean and your sims will automatically bring them to the dishwasher.

♦︎Although your dishwasher only come in some colours its very easy and great to customise because of the way you place it. Putting the dishwasher down in buy mode is simple. All you have to do is place it inside one of your counters and it looks really good.

♦︎ New Sims 4 Game Pack , Update and ... ICE CREAM ??? ♦︎ Also EA Gamescom NEWS ! ♦︎

♦︎I hope you guys had a great weeks last week , because 5 days ago they announced the release of "The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen Stuff". This pack will be coming to origin on august 11th , so in about  two weeks. I imagine this game will be available on origin and will be the normal stuff pack price of $80 HKD and $10 USD.

♦︎So the game play element in this stuff pack is ICE CREAM !!!!!!!!. This is honestly the best thing ever. So your sims can make Ice Creams and gelato , plus you can add toppings. There are 30 flavours to create and some of them may lead to "unusual abilities" - The Sims.

♦︎In this pack there will be some wonderful new content to spice up your sims kitchens. Even better they will be new kitchen appropriate clothing and hair. What about the people who will not be getting this stuff pack ?. Well your in luck because the sims has said the will be releasing a new update before the pack comes up with a dish washer.

 ♦︎ I love the sound of this pack and honestly can not wait for it to comes out.

♦︎Well what about EA gamescom. For you sims fan who could not tune in to the gamescon here is the ( amazing ) sims new thats was released. They told us thats the next sims expansion pack will be called...GET TO TOGETHER. This seems like a party based  expansion and only from the trailer we can already see that there will be ... DJ Booths ( hopefully a new skill ) , Bonfires , Swimming in lakes and maybe even a new woohoo locations. This will include a new world , the world has a very European inspired ascetic and looks amazing. I can not wait for more new on this game pack as we get closer to November.

♦︎Whats New On The 11th Of June ?♦︎

♦︎On the 11th of June ( two days ago ) there was a fabulous update to everyones sims 4 game. A new *FREE* town. This is a super cool addition to the sims. This is a completely new world that is a blank canvas for all you creative sim builders ( BTW I can not build anything in the sims I should just stick to CAS :p ) So I can not wait to hopefully get better at building :p.

♦︎The first really awesome thing about this world is that you have 3 towns and each town has 5 empty lots. This is perfect if you want to create shopping malls , lounges , Gyms & More.

♦︎Overall I think simmers needed this in their game. I am impressed mainly because it was *FREEEEEE* and yeah free stuff makes everyone happy.

♦︎The next thing is that for you simmers who have purchase the luxury party stuff they have added one more CAS item to the pack. This item is just for the simmers who did not want to use the flashy suits or are just in a mood for a less glitzy outfit for your sims party wear or formal wear. So if you have nor purchased the pack yet and a planning to you will get this too.

♦︎NEWCREST OUT IN ONLY HOURS ! & New Stuff Pack ?♦︎11th Of June Update♦︎

♦︎Hello fellow simmer :P I am really looking forward to start getting my blogger schedule back in order if you have not checked it out you can read about it by clicking on the diamond *♦︎*. So anyway I have been trying really hard to get my blog post done but I will probably not be sticking to the full schedule until the summer starts for me in 3 weeks.

♦︎So we have got some news on what content will be added to the game this 11th of June (Tomorrow). So the new
content is called "Newcrest" from what I have seen this will be a new world added to the list of "Willow Creek" & "Oasis Springs" and of course "Magnolia Promenade" is you own get to work. So I believe that this is basically a world full of empty lots.

♦︎I think this is really good as a lot of simmers have been requesting that we get more building space. I can not wait to see what this new town will have in store for us simmer guess we will have to wait until tomorrow.

♦︎We have news that next week we will be getting a new stuff pack. Now before I get into the exciting news of this pack I will not be getting it right away as I am not getting any new content until my summer officially starts ( in two weeks ). So this stuff pack is called "Perfect Patio Stuff". So this pack will consist of outdoor furniture , stylish swimsuits and of course lot of fun new gameplay.

♦︎So one of the main features is the hot tub. Now from what I know this hot tub will be able to hold 7 sims and maybe even children ?. This hot tub looks a bit different from the once you would see in the sims 3. This one seems to be above ground and actually looks pretty well fit for the theme.

♦︎I can not wait for my summer holidays when I can finally get in my hands on this stuff pack. Until then I am sure next week I will be watching a whole load of "first impression" videos for this stuff pack.

♦︎5 Custom Content Hunting Tricks♦︎

♦︎Hey guys today I though I could share with you some tip & tricks I have learnt when it comes to finding good sims 4 custom content. Now I am going to make a list including some images and descriptions so you don't have to read through all of them just because you might know a few if you are a long time CC hunter :D.

Social Media
1♦︎There are a number of good micro blogging tools that people share and re-post custom content on its good if you have an account on at least one site like Tumblr , Pinterest and so on. The good thing about this is you can follow CC creators or CC hunters that share/re-blog good custom content.

Pinterest Search
2♦︎The great thing about these app's is they all have some kind of re-blog feature. With Pinterest it is even easier because you have boards. I have 2 boards one for my sims 4 CC pins and one for my sims 3 CC pin's. Its super easy to pin something to a board and it can take about 5 seconds. This means you can pin CC you don't want to download right at that minute.

Tumblr
3♦︎Tumblr is probably the best one to have an account on mainly because so many CC creators use it as a blogging platform to share their creations. This means you can follow CC creators you really like and you can re-blog their creations if you don't feel like downloading them right that minute. Although this does not have the sorting out of feature like the "Pin Board" in Pinterest. It sure has a lot more CC floating around the website though. PS : just as a side note they have good search filters so that make it even easier

Google Image Search
4♦︎This is one not as many people use. Thats pretty funny considering how many CC pieces I have found from using this trick. So what you do is like any google search you search in google images then you type in the CC you are looking for and then a huge list of custom content images will pop up. Now if you like you can go to "Search Tools" and even look for the colour of the CC. Once you have found the CC you are looking for you can just click view page and it takes your normally to the site on which you can download it from :D.


The Sims Resource
5♦︎Now this is a pretty common one , the sims resource being the longest running CC website in the history of sims :P. This is such a good site and normally provides you with the best featured content. I
have had no problems downloading from the site and pretty much all their content is virus free. Overall though I would just consider creating an account on the site because you can find some great content.

Now this is only for now until a little bit past the summer depending on what part of the world you live in. I just needed a schedule for the summer because once extra curricular activities starts then I will need to change the schedule.

♦︎Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff♦︎Stuff Pack Review♦︎

♦︎ Hey guys I am back. I am super , super sorry I have not posted in a least 2 weeks I was going to post sooner after I got everything else done just because I have been really busy , but then I got sick and I am a lot better now so lets get on with this review.

♦︎So first things first I was super happy with this stuff pack when I found out it was only going to be $10 ( $9.99 ) USD because that pretty much half the price of the sims 3 stuff packs so that is a huge up side to this stuff pack. The content looks amazing and I am really happy to talk about the game play options too.


♦︎So lets talk about the content. I have chosen some of my favourite content to showcase on this female sim. I did not want to go to much into the content because a lot of simmers have already posted about the content and done first impression videos and all that jazz. So I have just chosen a photo that I took with my sims in all the content I really liked.

♦︎So lets talk about the game play. This pack includes two buffet tables that hold "the fountain of mirth". Sadly you can not place "the fountain of mirth" on any other tables or items alike ( but we will talk about "the fountain of mirth a bit later ). So with the buffet tables you can fill it up using some "Simolions" but of course you can bake & cook your own yummy dishes to put on the buffet table to. For those of you with "Get To Work" the buffet tables are
great display areas for your creations ( If you had a bakery or a restaurant ). *Also as a side note you can cook all the new items shown on the buffet table in the oven if you sim has the "gourmet cooking skill"*

♦︎Next lets talk about the fountain of mirth the fountain of mirth. This is probably the biggest added gameplay feature to this pack aside from the buffet table. This is super cool your sim can dip strawberries in chocolate and fill the fountain with caramel once they get to a high level in the cooking skill. Now I find that my favourite part of this is that you have to go through levelling up your sims mixology skill , you gourmet cooking skill and your cooking skill. I feel like because you are always unlocking new features its super fun.

♦︎So now we have talked about the basic information lets talk about the pro's & the con's

♦︎So while there are some con's in this pack I still think it is a good way to start the stuff packs of. I am super happy about this purchase an I think most of the content I will use on a average basis. I also think the gameplay features are amazing. We still need to think if it is worth it. For me myself as I have already said I am glad I purchased this and think its has decent content but the real question is do you need it , could you spend that extra $10 on something else. What I liked about get to work is that it had something for everyone but with luxury party stuff it really depend on how you play the sims and in general if you are into that kind of stuff in your game. Personally being a preteen girl this is the kind of stuff pack I would buy. Another question you should ask your self before buying this is really how much time to I really spend playing the sims , if you answer was "not that much" to that last question then I would suggest not spending 10 dollars on a game you hardly play and spend it on something you are generally interested in or save the $10 for another pack that might catch your eye a bit more in the near future.  Overall I liked most of the content in this pack , I think EA & Maxis put a lot of effort and detail into it and its super fun if but like I said it depend on the person that buys it.


       

♦︎Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff♦︎Content Sneak Peek + Release Date & Price♦︎

♦︎OMG guys. The big news about the leaked stuff pack is here. Luxury party stuff is confirmed and we have a release date & even a great price.

♦︎First lets talk about what we know about the content so far. We  know that there are a whole load of gameplay feature like a Banquet Table , a food/water fountain and some super classy new create a sim items.

♦︎So lets talk about the CAS items. Unlike most of the sims 3 stuff packs this stuff pack will include some makeup. I thinks this is super cool and hopefully the makeup will go with what looks like stunning new content. From the previews we can see upper class looking sims in lounge / bar areas in very, very stylish outfits. What I am most looking forward to is probably the hairstyles.

♦︎Off course we have build & buy mode. So the first feature is a bar stand. From the previews it looks like there will be some new chairs and tables.

♦︎So I am super happy to grab this stuff pack it looks amazing and has so many cool new features. This pack will be out on the 19th Of May 2015 for the awesome price of only $9.99 USD , $77.43 HKD and £6.32 GBP

♦︎NEW ! Sims 4 Update♦︎4th May 2015♦︎

♦︎Hey guys it didi the simmer. So first things first a lot of sims new has come out in the last few days. This includes and awesome new update with some super snazzy new features.
           
♦︎So first things first we have 3 new great star wars costumes. Now I was not expecting a new line of star wars costumes especially at this level of awesomeness. I think my faourite has got to be the bounty hunter though , just because of the level of detail in the outfit.

♦︎Next is one that I am really happy with is that your alien sims can now wear any cloths they want. I have an image with one of my alien sims in human sim cloths. I really hope this will result in more alien custom content. Also just a note that human sims can also wear the alien outfits to now too.

♦︎Goth Alien♦︎

♦︎Now we have got to talk about the new loading screen. I know this may not seem the most important part of the update but for some reason I am super excited about this. The reason I am is the fact that it gives room for Expansion art ,  I don't know if anyone remember but every time you downloaded a new expansion , stuff pack or anything along those lines you would get a new loading screen art , so I am really looking forward to seeing if this is the reason for the loading screen.



♦︎I think finally the most exciting new feature has got to be the leaked name of the next stuff pack. So the buzz is that the first stuff pack for the sims 4 will be called "Luxury Party Stuff". The title was leaked in some of the new update text. The text say that will be released "next week". Really though who knows what "Next Week" this could be. The message could pop up in game in 2 weeks and then it would be 1 week from that. Really I am not sure of the release date but people are saying that it should be out before the end of this month.
