♦︎ HOLD UP ! ...She's Back From Hibernation ♦︎

♦︎Hey, hi, whats up ! I AM BACK...I am probably way more excited then you are but none the less expect blog posts from me soon.

♦︎After my short break of ...oh you know...just about 10 MONTHS, I finally decided "hey Didi maybe its time to get your ass moving and write a blog post".  All jokes aside I just saw the teaser...for the trailer...for the expansion pack ( at least I think its an expansion pack...honestly I am so out of practice ) CITY LIVING. When I saw this I was like " hold my hoops...my sassy city life expansion is gonna steal your men because its so god damn pretty"...okay maybe not like that...but across those lines...also I watched it at 3:00am so it was more of a whisper. None the less I knew this was going to be my type of expansion pack and I am starting a new school year, overall its a really a great time to start this blog up again.

♦︎Okay lets get into these nice little screenshots I took of the teaser. It is literally 9 seconds but with my expert sleuthing skills "we gonna juice this tiny orange to make a jug of orange juice... somewhat".

♦︎So first up we have Bridget ( I am calling her "Bridget" because she look like someone who would order an overly complicated starbucks drink and wear Uggs outside of her house ). So in Bridget's right ( our left ) hand she is holding this little map. I am really hoping this little map is worth something in game and its not just a fancy animation.

♦︎I think it would be super cool if the sims 4 did a kind of "map to the starts" thing with this map kind of like in sims 3 "Late night" or  if you could discover secret areas or unlock places on the map but completing challenges or visiting other lots.

I feel like so much could be done just with this little map feature.

♦︎First off based on this I already have high hopes for this world. Coming from Hong Kong this reminds me a lot of the architecture from where I live. It seems like she is walking across some kind of "high rise pavement" and you can see all the city down below.

♦︎First things first I see some little yellow cars down there and that is already giving me ideas...*cough* taxis *cough*. We don't have taxis or public transportation in the sims 4...probably because we don't need them with all those loading screens ( Im not bitter >_> ) ...but what if we did ( you see where I am going with this don't you ) what if we are getting more of an open world vibe from this...maybe even more of an open world vibe then Windenburg. The only way I feel like this could happen though is if we got huge lots that covered like half the world they could be called like "City lots" or something and they could just be filled with working homes , eateries , taxis , trains, clubs, you name it. I know its a stretch and maybe I am getting overly excited but "guyyyyyysssss !"
*I also grabbed a screenshot of what look to be a larger map or maybe something to do with train station but I have more or less linked on both of those things already. 

♦︎Anyway thats what I have for today. The official trailer is out on the 13th USA time ( because its already the 13th for us Hong Kong peeps ) I will probably be uploading my post on the trailer around Friday morning ( yay more of my sleuthing ...we about to add a little bit of sugar to this orange juice ) and I think I am going to be starting a generations so if we have those week where there is no sims news I will have a blog post about my own sims and what they get up to.♦︎Also please comment if you agree with anything I am saying or if you even want to share ideas of your own.

♦︎Spooky Stuff Review ♦︎

 ♦︎ "Sims 4 Spooky Stuff" is out now on origin and today I will be writing my review on the new sims 4 pack  ♦︎

♦︎First things first the CAS ( Create a sim ) Items. I think they look amazing. The detailing on them is prefect and the range is pretty decent for a stuff pack. My one problem with this pack would be there is some clipping with a few of the costumes , also a lot of simmers don't like how with the female gladiator costumes don't show the female hair , it personally does not bother me but I can understand why it would bother others.

 ♦︎Now how about the Build & buy mode options. To be completely honest I have no problems with these items at all. In fact they are beyond perfect. They fit the theme
appropriately and just generally look really good. My favourite item would have to be the "Skelly Bear" though.

 ♦︎YES ! now my favourite part the gameplay options. There is a pumpkin carving stations , a spooky candy bowl and of course the spooky party event. The pumpkin carving station is so awesome , it's not as big as I thought it would be. It is linked in with the handiness skill so whatever level your sims is in that skill will effect the types of patterns you can carve. The spooky candy bowl is super awesome. I think there are three different animations and your sims reactions are great. Finally there is the spooky party. The spooky party is a lot like the costume party apart from the fact you can decorate your house in halloween or "Spooky day" decorations and                                                        cook spooky themed  food.

♦︎Before I do my overall thoughts on this pack here are the pros & Cons

 ♦︎ So is this pack worth getting. My personal opinion is that its a great and pretty well made pack. Although you can only really use the pack items on "spooky day" there are some items that you could use all year round ( why not make everyday spooky day ? ). I think that it is worth getting I really have enjoyed this stuff pack and I think its just super fun.

♦︎ Spa Day Game Pack Review ♦︎

♦︎ This week was the release of the sims 4 Spa Day , the second game pack to the sims 4.

♦︎So I am first going to talk about when you first install this game. It is $160 HKD and around $20 USD . Unfortunately though you can only buy this pack on origin digitally so if you are a CD kinda person you might have let it go :P . When you install the game the first time you will see will be a big notice telling you the game play elements. Don't worry if you want to see it again as you can go into the button at the top of your home screen that say "packs" and you can find the same information.

♦︎Now for my thoughts on CAS. Honestly I was pretty happy with what we got for the female sims , the hairs where beautiful the gym wear was just what I would expect would be in a pack like this and overall it was just really impressive. On the other hand though the male clothing was a bit unoriginal to be blunt. Although there wheres some new ones and some clothing items if you where looking for a laugh I honestly though there was not much. Most of the hairs was just the same style as the shorter female hairs and the tops looks similar to those of the base game and other packs. Anyway I think that the CAS for this was decent and was a pretty good amount for what you payed.

♦︎On that note I think that the build and buy mode impressed nearly all the simmers who have purchased this pack. I think the amount of build and buy mode content was just awesome. You had all the appropriate spa items and more. I am not going into full detail about the items you get ( mainly because that would be way to long of a blog post ) but I think that if you are someone who is  really into the build and buy part of the game this pack is for you.

♦︎One of the key parts of this pack was the introduction of the wellness skill. This skills is probably one of the coolest skills in the sims 4. Levelling up in this skill give you a load of advantages like new healthy recipes for your sims to cook and different yoga poses. When you get to the higher level of this skill your sims can even teleport. This skill really impressed me I was surprised that it had so many elements and that it was so fun to level up in.

♦︎Lets talk about the most important thing ( in my opinion ) the gameplay. It was crazy how much fun I had playing this pack. There are so many things to explore in this pack it might takes days even weeks  before you try out everything. I love how the sims is just adding all these amazing things from the sims 3 and then making them better in the sims 4. My favourite gameplay element was the yoga. I  loved taking my sims to the yoga classes. It was so cool seeing your sims progress in the skill.

♦︎Now before I go on to my overall opinion of this pack here are some pro's and con's.

♦︎I think that this is a really great pack. Even if your not much of a spa person you can still find loads of fun from of this. If your not getting it for the sake of gameplay get it for the build and buy mode items. Honestly I think this pack was better that the previous pack "outdoor retreat". I think I would give this pack a 8/10 .

♦︎ New Sims 4 Game Pack , Update and ... ICE CREAM ??? ♦︎ Also EA Gamescom NEWS ! ♦︎

♦︎I hope you guys had a great weeks last week , because 5 days ago they announced the release of "The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen Stuff". This pack will be coming to origin on august 11th , so in about  two weeks. I imagine this game will be available on origin and will be the normal stuff pack price of $80 HKD and $10 USD.

♦︎So the game play element in this stuff pack is ICE CREAM !!!!!!!!. This is honestly the best thing ever. So your sims can make Ice Creams and gelato , plus you can add toppings. There are 30 flavours to create and some of them may lead to "unusual abilities" - The Sims.

♦︎In this pack there will be some wonderful new content to spice up your sims kitchens. Even better they will be new kitchen appropriate clothing and hair. What about the people who will not be getting this stuff pack ?. Well your in luck because the sims has said the will be releasing a new update before the pack comes up with a dish washer.

 ♦︎ I love the sound of this pack and honestly can not wait for it to comes out.

♦︎Well what about EA gamescom. For you sims fan who could not tune in to the gamescon here is the ( amazing ) sims new thats was released. They told us thats the next sims expansion pack will be called...GET TO TOGETHER. This seems like a party based  expansion and only from the trailer we can already see that there will be ... DJ Booths ( hopefully a new skill ) , Bonfires , Swimming in lakes and maybe even a new woohoo locations. This will include a new world , the world has a very European inspired ascetic and looks amazing. I can not wait for more new on this game pack as we get closer to November.

♦︎Spa Day Outfits & Build & Buy♦︎

♦︎ Hey guys so a couple weeks ago they released the sims pack "Spa Day" I have posted my review on the pack and you can check thats out. Anyway I have created a couple outfits and have created a room to show you guys. You can find them on the gallery under "didi_the_simmer"

recently I have been really into building in the
sims. I hope you guys like the room and thank you
for over 50 downloads that is so cool :D

♦︎This is one of the
outfits I have put my sim in. Even
if you have no packs and just spa day you
can still create this outfit it requires no CC
and items from other packs. So just base game &
the Spa Day game pack. 

♦︎ I love this outfits and the
colours in it. It works with all
sims of any shape and size. I hope you
guys will like these two outfits.

♦︎NEWCREST OUT IN ONLY HOURS ! & New Stuff Pack ?♦︎11th Of June Update♦︎

♦︎Hello fellow simmer :P I am really looking forward to start getting my blogger schedule back in order if you have not checked it out you can read about it by clicking on the diamond *♦︎*. So anyway I have been trying really hard to get my blog post done but I will probably not be sticking to the full schedule until the summer starts for me in 3 weeks.

♦︎So we have got some news on what content will be added to the game this 11th of June (Tomorrow). So the new
content is called "Newcrest" from what I have seen this will be a new world added to the list of "Willow Creek" & "Oasis Springs" and of course "Magnolia Promenade" is you own get to work. So I believe that this is basically a world full of empty lots.

♦︎I think this is really good as a lot of simmers have been requesting that we get more building space. I can not wait to see what this new town will have in store for us simmer guess we will have to wait until tomorrow.

♦︎We have news that next week we will be getting a new stuff pack. Now before I get into the exciting news of this pack I will not be getting it right away as I am not getting any new content until my summer officially starts ( in two weeks ). So this stuff pack is called "Perfect Patio Stuff". So this pack will consist of outdoor furniture , stylish swimsuits and of course lot of fun new gameplay.

♦︎So one of the main features is the hot tub. Now from what I know this hot tub will be able to hold 7 sims and maybe even children ?. This hot tub looks a bit different from the once you would see in the sims 3. This one seems to be above ground and actually looks pretty well fit for the theme.

♦︎I can not wait for my summer holidays when I can finally get in my hands on this stuff pack. Until then I am sure next week I will be watching a whole load of "first impression" videos for this stuff pack.

♦︎OMG guys. The big news about the leaked stuff pack is here. Luxury party stuff is confirmed and we have a release date & even a great price.

♦︎First lets talk about what we know about the content so far. We  know that there are a whole load of gameplay feature like a Banquet Table , a food/water fountain and some super classy new create a sim items.

♦︎So lets talk about the CAS items. Unlike most of the sims 3 stuff packs this stuff pack will include some makeup. I thinks this is super cool and hopefully the makeup will go with what looks like stunning new content. From the previews we can see upper class looking sims in lounge / bar areas in very, very stylish outfits. What I am most looking forward to is probably the hairstyles.

♦︎Off course we have build & buy mode. So the first feature is a bar stand. From the previews it looks like there will be some new chairs and tables.

♦︎So I am super happy to grab this stuff pack it looks amazing and has so many cool new features. This pack will be out on the 19th Of May 2015 for the awesome price of only $9.99 USD , $77.43 HKD and £6.32 GBP

♦︎Sims 3 Supernatural Review♦︎

♦︎Hey Guys it's did the simmer here today and two days ago I got the supernatural expansion pack for my sims 3 game. It was on sale on origin for around $106. HKD. Of course being my sim addicted self I had to take advantage of this sale and purchase a *NEW* expansion. So heres my review and general verdict on the game.


♦︎Welcome to moonlight falls , Your normal everyday town... that is if you exclude the "Chit Chat of the undead" or "Ghost rollerskating". This town has so much to explore that it would be weeks before you have checked out every corner of this world. Is this the expansion for you ?

♦︎First lets talk CAS (Create a sim). In CAS you can choose out of 6 ( or 7 , but we will get into that later ) different creatures. Each one of these characters for you to create have there own little features. Like a fairy will of course have wings , Vampires fang and you can even choose how your ghost died.

Now on to most people favourite part of CAS the new cloths. The endless amount of content you get in the CAS clothing is unbelievable , there is a gothic take on some outfit while being mixed in with

♦︎I don't want this to become a list so lets get more into the gameplay. I chose out some of my favourite parts on the map and have written a little something about them that I enjoyed.
Red Velvet Lounge
A snazzy club like lounge for the darkest of vampires to the cutest of fairies. It has a dark theme and is great for a full moon party
Aleister's Elixirs and Sundries


A store for your witches and pixie who want to work on their magic potions and purchase some if they are not in the mood to work :P. An original little store that can only be found in this expansion.
H Two O Indoor Pool
Not that it's a special feature in the sims , I mean public pools are pretty much in every map , but I really like the feel of the indoor swimming and it actually looks pretty sweet compared to other community pools in the sims.

♦︎Whats that , a full moon ? , Yes a calling for all creatures and undead beings. On a full moon your supernatural sims powers are at their fullest not to mention the zombies crawling around your lot. You can wait for the full moon by checking your "moon". The moon is located in the same place where the little weather thingy from seasons :P is yup I don't know what to call it sorry guys. Anyway full moons are pretty fun , what my sims love to do is have a supernatural gathering house party , gather all your friends Humans and the supernatural and throw a full moon bash. This can be fun as humans sims can get turned into zombies so that party could get interesting. Apart from full powers and zombies the full moon does not have many other advertised features but the moon is the main feature of this expansion.

♦︎Now one of the cool things about this expansion is if you have other expansion. For extra features you can purchase the sims 3 "Showtime" or "Seasons" or BOTH !. LOl anyway if you have season you can use the weather stone. The weather stone is a totem poll like feature that can change the weather depending on your sims supernatural ability. Next with the season expansion is just your normal festival ground. With showtime you can create Genies , Yes bright coloured magical beings with the ability to grant wishes. I think this is one of the main reasons for getting other expansions to.

♦︎Lets get down the main part of a review , is this worth your time and money ? Being a crazy sims supporter myself you could pretty much give me any expansion or stuff pack and I would be pleased , but for someone who is not as into the game and is just looking for a bit of add on to the game it really depends. If you are looking for a game that explores the unknown or unrealistic life styles this is 100% your expansion maybe tying with "Into the Future". On the other hand though you may like the realistic feel of the game , if thats you this expansion may take away from the joys of the game play. You can turn of some of the features with this pack but some of the packs rather enoying pars don't have an available option to turn them off. Overall being a "Supernatural Fan" myself I loved this expansion. Then again I did get it on sale for roughly $106 HKD ( $13 USD and £8 GBP ).  I would say the full price of $160 HKD is a bit much for a sims 3 expansion and maybe the SALE price of $106 HKD is a better price. So I would suggest unless you really want this pack you should wait a bit till its on sale. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this review and gave you an inside look on the game play of this expansion.

♦︎The latest instalment of the sims is the best by far. Then again the sims just keep getting better and better. One of the key thing I loved about sims 4 was the customisation , I now understand why this was their main focus in this edition IT IS BEYOND AMAZING !. The Fact you can pretty much do anything you want with them is great. I also love the new feature where you can choose their walk.

♦︎ I would also like to point out that the graphics in this a great

and for a person who blog like me this really helps make screen shots and screen recording much clearer.

♦︎On to the price. I would really say what you pay is what its worth with
this game. Right now in Origin the game is $286 HKD

♦︎I would suggest you turn on your sims 3 camera as this makes it
the tinniest but easier to get around the screen just because your
used to it if you have been simming for a while now

♦︎Before I end this review I would just like to talk about how the overall game play with this game is like with the mac set up. Trust me you get all the same things as the PC game but I feel that the way the mouse and the keys are set up with your mac it just make for a really happy game play and I don't really know how to put that any other way. If they are and when they do I hope that the Sim 5 can come out for Mac/PC the first time.

♦︎Overall the sims 4 was probably one of the best purchases I have ever made ( and thats not and over statement ) I really enjoy the lay out and the amazing new feature we have in this game that where not in the sims 3 is great truly great and I am overjoyed that it has finally come out for mac

Okay guys after a long wait sims 4 is going to be out for mac. You might remember 2-3 weeks ago I did a post about how they have promised that sims 4 will be out for mac this month well is out within a matter of weeks that on the 17/2/15 Sims 4 will be out for all my fellow mac user. I promise I will try and get this as soon as I can and give you guys a review.

The Sims has yet Impressed us again for "Game Packs" to the first Extension pack for the sims 4. On Their twitter @TheSims , They have announced the release of the "Get to Work" Extension for your sims 4 game. The Features in this game include :

I am Extremely Excited for this game because to me in a way I like the idea of starting your own business on sims or features that are not in the base game like going to work with your sims.  I think I am most Excited for starting your own Store.

It's now out for pre-order on origin , I do suggest though that you wait for the game to come out Fully because pre-oder is a $310 HKD and thats more than half of the normal priced base game so I hope you can hold on till April.
